For years I have fluctuated with my weight. I had tried all those fad diets in which I always gained more weight when I stopped following them.
As my youngest child got into school full time I thought this was not the time to take time out for myself. I was juggling work, school and after school activities with no time for me so I rejoined the gym but found that I was not losing weight even though I felt I was working really hard.
I was invited to join Sharon’s class by a friend and found the atmosphere welcoming. I attended the class twice a week as well as the gym and swimming.
The weight dropped off me over just 4 months. I lost an incredible 2 stone 6 pounds and look and feel fantastic! I do have times when I fall off my pedal stool but within a day or so I get back on it.

Four ladies from the ‘Personal Best’ group in Wythenshawe have lost a whopping 24 inches and 7 % body fat within the space of one month.
In June 2007 I started the classes through the smile project which is a programme that helps you to get active and lose weight, but unfortunately it only lasts for 12 weeks. Sharon taken over this group in August and I love going to her classes.
I feel healthier, fitter and more confident and have also lost weight and toned up. I also eat so much healthier because of Sharon’s nutritional advice.
I like her classes as she does different things each week. My favourite classes that she teaches are circuit training and her hardcore military workout which leaves you feeling energised and fit!

I started the classes for my long time friend Sue, as she needed moral support. I really enjoy the classes and find them fun. Although I am happy with my weight, since doing the classes regularly I have lost 4 inches from my hips in the space of a month and also gained an inch on my chest area which I am extremely happy with. I like the body balance class which helps to stretch and tone my muscles.

‘Gorton Lifestyles’ has been running since May 2007 and there is over 100 people registered on the exercise and healthy eating programmes.
I started Sharon’s classes in September and now attend 3 classes a week. I have lost 2% body fat this month and feel great. I feel more toned and have more energy. I really enjoy the boxing classes and her diet advice is great.

I started these classes recently and they have changed my life in such a short space of time. I go to 3 classes a week and Sharon has helped me to also fit exercise into my everyday life which I never thought I could do.
